Is Pocket shutting down?

Yes. Mozilla shut Pocket down on July 8, 2025. Users could export saved items until October 8, 2025, and remaining data was permanently deleted on November 12, 2025. Pocket is no longer available in any form.

What's the best Pocket alternative?

It depends on where you want to actually read what you save. If you read inside an app on your phone, look at in-app read-it-later tools. If you want to read on a Kindle instead - away from your phone entirely - Kindlesuite is built specifically for that.

Can I import my old Pocket saves?

Pocket's own export is gone now that the shutdown is complete, so recovery depends on whether you exported your list before the October 2025 deadline. Going forward, Kindlesuite doesn't need an import - just paste each link you want to keep reading.
