Medium hosts a lot of genuinely good writing - essays, technical deep-dives, personal narratives - but reading it on the platform itself means navigating claps, highlight prompts, "become a member" interstitials, and an infinite scroll of "recommended" stories at the bottom of every page. None of that is a great environment for actually finishing a piece.
There's no official Kindle export button. Here's the fastest way to get a Medium post onto your device as clean, readable text.

Medium's layout wasn't built for e-ink
A typical Medium article page is maybe 40% actual writing and 60% platform chrome: a sticky header with the clap counter, inline highlight prompts, a "members only" banner if you're not signed in, and a full-width "more from this author" block once you reach the end.
